Recently, a batch of stainless steel tank semi-trailers, custom-engineered and manufactured by the INTAI factory for a client in Ecuador, successfully passed rigorous quality inspections and pre-shipment testing. The units have been loaded and are now en route to the Port of Guayaquil.
These tank trailers are designed for the transport of palm oil and will operate within a cross-border supply chain corridor in Latin America, facilitating the safe, large-scale, interregional transport of high-purity, food-grade palm oil.
As a significant producer and exporter of palm oil in South America, Ecuador presents a challenging environment characterized by complex terrain and variable climate conditions. Furthermore, the transport of edible oils demands rigorous hygiene standards—necessitating strict contamination prevention, precise temperature control, and specific tank material requirements. The stainless steel tanks manufactured by INTAI meet all food-grade standards; their interiors undergo a high-precision passivation process to ensure the palm oil remains free from contamination.
Given the demanding transport routes—ranging from tropical rainforest mining areas to high-altitude coastal highways—which involve severe road vibrations, INTAI engineers have implemented multiple reinforcements for the stainless steel trailer chassis. The frame is constructed from high-strength steel using an integrated molding process to ensure superior stability. Complemented by heavy-duty, reinforced suspension systems and wear-resistant tires, the design enhances the vehicle's overall load-bearing capacity and shock resistance.
Rigorous Pre-Shipment Inspection
Before loading and dispatch, our Quality Control (QC) department, in collaboration with a third-party inspection agency, conducted comprehensive, real-world testing of the vehicles:
Hydrostatic and Airtightness Testing: Ensuring that the tanks, along with all valves and piping, remain 100% leak-free even under extreme pressure.
Anti-Rust Treatment and Sealing for Ocean Freight: To withstand the salt-spray environment encountered during long-haul maritime transport, all exposed metal components and axle ends have been treated with high-performance anti-rust coatings. Additionally, all critical openings are sealed with waterproof and dustproof gaskets.
Whether you are located in South America, Africa, or Central Asia, our engineering team can develop a high-quality, cost-effective transport solution tailored to your specific local climate, road conditions, and the unique characteristics of the cargo you intend to transport.
